(2019 Update – includes new video, updated dashboard and fresh URLs)
I just received the good news that I have been selected for another year to be a Tableau Zen Master, along with 34 other talented individuals around the world.
That’s a lot of people to know and remember, and if you have a bad memory like me, you’ll need a little help to keep track of everyone. That’s why I built the Find-a-Zen tool, to make all of the important and publicly available information on us easily accessible to everyone. E.g. names, faces, websites, Twitter, YouTube and Tableau Public URLs. This way you can check out all of their great work and connect with them easily. See for yourself below:
I’ve also used the rough locations provide in their Tableau Public profiles so you can see how many Tableau Zen Masters represent your region (we now have 3 in APAC, yay!), and if there are any close enough to engage with, such as visiting your local Tableau User Group.
I’ve also made the dashboard mobile friendly, as chances are you might want to brush up on your knowledge about them whilst on the move e.g. whilst at a Tableau Conference.
I hope this helps you get the most out of the Tableau Zen Masters, as there is so much talent and inspiration between them all, I’d hate for any of you to miss out discovering this due to the information being scattered everywhere.
Who’s your favourite Zen or how have they helped you? Let me know in the comments below.
