Whenever I order a pizza from my local; Crust Pizza in Pyrmont, I make sure I take advantage of the ‘special instructions’ box when ordering, as they’re always game for a laugh (see the gallery below).
This time, in celebration of this site, I asked for a graph/chart related drawing on my pizza box. Dinosaurs were an optional, and welcome extra. They delivered on all accounts!
Not only is this a great example of good customer service and viral marketing, but also a good demonstration of how data visualisations don’t have to be limited to a piece of paper or a computer screen.
