I’ve always had a soft spot for the Team Fortress 2 video game, especially their ‘Meet the…’ short videos. The Spy one always cracks me up, but the one I’ve focussed on today is for the Heavy class.
In the video he boasts that it fires 10,000 per minute and costs $400,000 to fire the gun for 12 seconds! I did the simple maths around this and built the infographic below to let people see how much it would cost to fire the gun for longer.
If anyone knows of a way to find the average number of bullets fired per match by the heavy, get in touch. I’d love to work out how much money the Red and Blue teams have spent over the years.
