A quick simple tip, mostly for Mac users, with Excel and Google Sheets:

Or for a more technical description; cycling through all 4 types of cell references (absolute, mixed reference (2x) and relative).
I’ve seen too many Mac (and a few Windows) users suffer by not knowing this shortcut, so here it is.
